Chris Cooper
He is a British National who has been living and doing business in Southern Spain for the last 35 years. From the mid seventies through to the early to mid eighties Chris was very active in the U.K. property market in both residential and commercial development/investment projects. He commenced a large residential scheme with local partners in 1986 and moved definitively to Spain shortly thereafter.
He then went into partnership with a U.K. based commercial development Company and subsequently developed Plaza Mayor, a hugely successful and ICSC award winning leisure and commercial development in Malaga. Together with the same partners he went on to develop one of the largest commercial centre AireSur in Seville. It was sold upon completion to an International Property Investment Fund and was one of the biggest property transactions of the year.
Jim Broberg
67 years of age, Swedish National, started his international experience as Officer in the United Nations Peace Keeping Forces in the Middle East, serving both in the Sinai Desert and on Cyprus. He has lived the last 42 years in Marbella, Spain. Jim has been active in all end of the Real Estate business. During the eighties he participated in founding a construction company; Broberg’s that later became WASA Construction, this company was sold 1988.
He also started, with other partners, a Real Estate Agency; WASA Real Estate that was sold in 2010. Jim has mostly been dedicated to the creation of development land and the promotion of several Real Estate projects in Benahavis and Marbella as Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club, designed by Severiano Ballesteros, Vega del Colorado with large individual villas and Aloha Park a luxury apartment development.
